CPR
The St John Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course gives you the skills to perform CPR on a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. You will gain the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR on an adult, child and infant.
Asthma and Anaphylaxis
The Asthma course equips participants with the skills to assess asthma risks, create emergency management strategies, and provide asthma-related first aid in the workplace. It covers asthma triggers, signs, symptoms, and emergency management techniques.
The Anaphylaxis course trains participants to provide first aid for anaphylaxis until medical help arrives, including identifying and responding to anaphylaxis, and developing strategies to prevent allergen exposure and minimise related risks.

Participants will be required to undertake an online e-learning module prior to attending the face-to-face workshops for practice and assessment.
Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
- Must be able to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor for 2 minutes.
- Must complete pre-learning before coming to class as topics covered in pre-learning are not covered in the classroom.
