Peter joined St John Ambulance Queensland in 2025 as an experienced Senior Executive, recognised for his exceptional people skills and extensive strategic expertise. He is also a registered paramedic.

With a unique skill set, Peter excels in driving operational excellence within complex environments. His strong communication skills allow him to engage stakeholders at all levels, uniting teams and partners around a shared vision to achieve high performance. As a natural problem solver, Peter consistently anticipates and addresses challenges from multiple perspectives, leading to improved outcomes.

In his previous role with the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), Peter led initiatives that enhanced community resilience, including developing strategies for effective models of primary healthcare to communities as well as resilience education programs such as CPR awareness, virtual care and referral services. He also led the COVID-19 response for communication centres throughout Queensland.

Early in his career at QAS, Peter transformed the organisation’s commercial capabilities, evolving it from a traditional paramedical service into a comprehensive safety management and WHS provider, boosting its competitive advantage.
