St John Ambulance Queensland is a self-funding charitable organisation dedicated to helping people in sickness, distress, suffering, or danger. We have been saving lives for 140 years and internationally are part of a wider organisation with a long and honourable history.

The St John Ambulance Queensland Board of Directors is looking to fill two vacancies in November’s upcoming election. The board is seeking individuals with skills in the following areas:
- Finance/Audit
- Aged Care/Communities
- Workplace, Health & Safety
- Legal (within the NFP sector).
The 2024 AGM is scheduled for the 28 November 2024 at which the election of Directors will occur.
